A KEIGHLEY GP partnership has adopted an app which supports patients with a range of ways to improve their health.
The Holly Health app offers personalised help in areas including exercise, mental wellbeing, weight management, sleep and nutrition.
Modality AWC, which has more than 80,000 patients across the district, is the latest of over 200 GP practices UK-wide to adopt the initiative.
Patients will receive 12 months' free access, and can sign up via the practice website or pick up a leaflet and scan a QR code.
People without a smartphone can benefit too by completing an online lifestyle health check.
Dr Nick Bird, a GP based at Haworth Medical Practice, says: "With almost half the UK population reporting at least one long-standing health issue, and with statistics showing that one in four adults in Yorkshire and the Humber have experienced high anxiety, Holly Health gets a big thumbs-up from me.
"It’s ideal for patients who need a little extra support in adopting healthier habits. The app is easy to use and packed with tips to help people feel physically and mentally better."
