STAFF and volunteers at Haworth Riding for the Disabled staged a fundraising 'Penny-a-thon'.
They rode the charity's mechanical horse, nicknamed Penny, for 24 hours.
Two members of staff and seven volunteers took part in the marathon effort.
Together they raised £355.
"The money will be going towards a vet bill as we have a very sick pony at the moment," says a group spokesperson.
"Everyone supported each other during the challenge, and some tried to get a little sleep in a makeshift camp that they created.
"They also ordered in well-deserved pizza!".
Haworth Riding for the Disabled acquired Penny 10 years ago.
The five-speed custom-built machine mimics the actions of a real horse, and is used to introduce people to riding or help them experience a change in pace.
