RIDDLESDEN St Mary's Primary School staged a flowerpot festival.
A huge range of creations – by pupils, their families and some staff – was on display.
Following an art showcase session in the classrooms, families headed out into the school grounds to admire the flowerpot handiwork.
Early years teachers, Mr Stevie Midgley and Miss Rebecca Halliday, held a Gruffalo storytelling session in the school allotment.
And the PTA served hot chocolate and cookies in the playground.
Miss Gini Talbot, for the school, said: "We had so many fantastic plant pot creations – including owls, dogs and even humans!
"We are looking forward to hosting the event again next year."
