ORGANISERS of a coffee morning at Cowling Village Hall in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support have hailed the event as a huge success.
Spokesperson Andrea Moore says: "Thanks to everybody's support, both before and on the day, we raised an amazing £615.80!
"This will help Macmillan to continue to provide much-needed support to people at very difficult times in their lives."
The event included a raffle, quiz and 'Count the Macmillan Coffee Cups' challenge.
Thanks were expressed to all who gave their support, including Cross Hills Co-op for a donation towards refreshments.
