A CROSS Hills company is celebrating multiple honours in a prestigious awards scheme.
Omega Solutions has collected four accolades in the RAC Cooling Industry Awards.
Plaudits included the coveted Small Company Achievement of the Year title.
Awards were presented in a ceremony at London's Grosvenor Ballroom, attended by around 500 guests.
Established in 2022, Omega Solutions provides professional consultancy services to reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions through engineering, education and data management.
Its customer portfolio includes the Co-op Group, Walmart, Asda, Costco and Iceland.
The trio of other awards the company picked up – Refrigeration Product of the Year, Environmental Collaboration of the Year and Retail Project of the Year – was for work carried out in conjunction with the Co-op and Copeland.
Omega Solutions operations director, James Bailey, says: "We are beyond proud of our contribution and recognition for supporting the Co-op in its six-pillar strategy – which collected the Environmental Collaboration and Retail Project of the Year awards respectively.
"The awards organisers mentioned that achieving net zero will only come through collaboration. This project demonstrated what can be achieved with a motivated client with long-term goals, and engineers and designers with the knowledge to apply technology that is available today to address key challenges."
Managing director, Brian Churchyard, says: "For a business that is still in its infancy, to be recognised for the impact that we are demonstrating in the transition to net zero, training and data management is truly amazing."
Judges for the Small Company Achievement of the Year award highly praised Omega Solutions.
In their adjudication, they said: "A great little company that is providing not just products for industry. It also offers much-needed training, and the energy and emissions profiling software that anyone can share is great. A very professional outfit well worthy of this award."
The RAC Cooling Industry Awards – now in their 21st year – are described by the organiser RAC Magazine as "the biggest and most prestigious event recognising innovation, best practice and business excellence across the refrigeration and air conditioning sector".
Omega Solutions is also in contention for another separate honour.
It's a finalist in the Consultancy of the Year category of the Edie Net Zero Awards.
Winners will be announced at a ceremony in London on November 29.
