KEIGHLEY MP Robbie Moore has launched his annual Christmas card competition.

Any primary-school-aged child living in the constituency can take part.

The winning design will feature on the front of Mr Moore's Christmas card, which will be sent to fellow MPs, residents, businesses and the speaker of the Commons.

Entrants can choose any theme for their card.

Designs may be posted to Mr Moore's constituency office at Shan House, 80-86 North Street, Keighley BD21 3AG, or scanned copies can be emailed to robbie.moore.mp@parliament.uk

The deadline for submissions is Monday, November 11.

Prizes will be awarded to the winner and runners-up.

The competition attracts hundreds of entries from across the constituency every year.

Last year's contest was won by Evie Crawford, a pupil at Sacred Heart Primary School, Ilkley.

She received a copy of her card signed by the then Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, and a House of Commons Speaker’s teddy bear.

Mr Moore says: "Every year, the colour and creativity on display in the competition from our schoolchildren is fantastic, and I have no doubt that this year’s Christmas card contest will be no different.

"If you’re the parent of a budding young artist, please do get your child involved."
