AN Oakworth woman is raising funds for Prostate Cancer UK.

Beth Brunskill took part in the Berlin Marathon – with husband Adam – last month, completing the event in just under three hours 43 minutes.

And on Saturday, November 2, she is staging a cabaret night at Keighley rugby union club in Skipton Road, Utley.

The fundraiser will feature the highly acclaimed Miss Kiddy and the Cads, who have performed at venues including Ronnie Scott's, the Savoy, the Dorchester and Camp Bestival.

Tickets for the event are £25, including food. There will also be a raffle, with prizes donated by businesses.

Beth, 37, has an overall fundraising campaign target of £3,000.

Her marathon Just Giving page, justgiving.com/fundraising/berlin-marathon-2024-53056, has so far coined in more than £1,400.

She says: "I wanted to run the Berlin Marathon and raise as much as I could for Prostate Cancer UK, as myself and Adam know so many men who have been affected by the disease.

"However rather than just asking for donations I wanted to give people a great experience too, by getting to enjoy Miss Kiddy and the Cads.

"It promises to be a great evening."
