TWO Keighley authors have contributed to a new charity anthology celebrating Richard III.
Alex Marchant and Alison Harrop, who writes under the pen name Alice Mitchell, provided short stories for A Spirited and Most Courageous Prince.
The duo was amongst writers from the UK, USA and Australia to contribute.
A foreword was written by award-winning actor Robert Lindsay.
Alex also edited the book, sales of which are raising funds for the charity Scoliosis Support and Research.
She says: "We’re honoured that Robert Lindsay wrote our foreword. Robert played Richard III for the Royal Shakespeare Company in 1998, an experience that changed his mind about the real man.
"King Richard was found to have had scoliosis when his grave was discovered in 2012, so Scoliosis Support and Research was the obvious charity to support with proceeds from the books."
