A PACKED programme is lined up at Keighley's Picture House.
And there is a busy Halloween schedule at the North Street cinema, including a host of special screenings and events.
Bradford International Film Festival heads to the Picture House on Saturday, October 26, at 2pm.
It is screening short films including Oh Rats, Dead Skin, Kiddo, Shi**y Liking, Gobstopper, Black Dog and Winter Song.
Some of the filmmakers, who are already creating waves on the festival circuit, will take part in a question-and-answer session.
Tickets for the event can be booked through bradiff.com
On Sunday, October 27, the Picture House will mark the Halloween season by screening three classic movies.
First up is the family-friendly Casper (PG), at 2pm. The audience can then take a trip into the cinema’s specially created haunted castle, to meet Count Mickey Mouse.
The cost is £13 for children, including the film ticket, free popcorn and juice, a Halloween goody bag and entry into the haunted castle, where each child will receive a gift. A sweetie pick 'n' mix will also be available. Adult tickets are £9, including the film ticket, a Casper cocktail/hot chocolate and homemade Halloween cupcakes. A £40 family ticket, for two adults and two children, is also available.
Then there are screenings of Hocus Pocus (PG) at 5.30pm and Tobe Hooper’s Poltergeist (15) at 8pm, with standard ticket prices applying.
On Halloween night – Thursday, October 31 – at 8.25pm, the 1998 movie Halloween: H20, starring Jamie Lee Curtis, will be shown. And Michael Myers will be in attendance.
The Picture House is also continuing its 'golden age' musicals, screened on the last Monday of every month at 1.30pm. The latest, on Monday, October 28, is the 1971 classic Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Standard ticket prices apply, and complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits are available.
Current films showing include Parker Finn’s much-anticipated horror sequel Smile 2, and DreamWorks’ acclaimed animated family feature The Wild Robot.
And filmgoers can once again look forward to a Christmas Eve screening of It’s A Wonderful Life, at 5pm.
Cinema owner, Charles Morris, says: "The screening of this 1946 classic – the ultimate feelgood Christmas film – has become an annual tradition at the Picture House. It is the ideal way to wind down after the pre-Christmas rush and get in the mood for Christmas."
