BUSINESS students from Keighley College have taken part in workshops in London.

The initiative – at the Verizon Business Hub – was aimed at enhancing their skills and boosting confidence, and giving them a greater insight into the world of business.

For many students, it was their first visit to the capital.

During the event – organised by the charity, Business in the Community – the students met up with Keighley MP Robbie Moore, who spoke about his role and answered questions on a range of topics.

Mr Moore said afterwards: "It was great to speak to such a motivated group of students.

"The energy and passion for business they displayed was fantastic.

"The whole team at Keighley College is providing some great opportunities for our young people as they journey through education and transition into the world of work. A huge 'well done' goes to all those involved."
