HOW gardeners can help hedgehogs is the focus of an event at Glusburn next month.
Lorraine Rushton will give a presentation at a meeting of Glusburn & Cross Hills Gardening Society.
Anyone is welcome to attend the event, at Glusburn Community and Arts Centre, Colne Road, on Friday, November 8, starting at 7.30pm.
Derek Blackwell, for the society, says: "Lorraine's talk will cover hedgehog rescue and rehabilitation across Craven and the Ribble Valley, and how gardeners can play their part in 'helping hogs'.
"The meeting is open to everybody. You don't need to be a member."
Admission is £3 for members, and £5 for non-members.
Membership is available on the evening, at a cost of £8.
For further information contact Mr Blackwell on 07834 713735.
