WORTH Valley Young Farmers found the recipe for success in a national cooking contest.
The club fielded two teams representing Yorkshire in the National Federation of Young Farmers' Clubs cooking finals, held at the Malvern Show.
As part of the competition, each team had just an hour to produce a three-course meal suitable for a special seasonal celebration, using only two camping stoves and incorporating some mystery ingredients.
The Worth Valley contingent comprised Isabelle Balderstone, Ellie Dowse and Gracie Bridge in Yorkshire A, and Joe Holmes, Lucy Goulding and Brooke Watt in Yorkshire B.
A club spokesperson says: "We were extremely proud to have not one but two teams representing Yorkshire at the national cookery finals.
"To get through to the national finals is an achievement in itself but both teams placed really highly, with Yorkshire B taking first place for the 'best display' and Yorkshire A placing second overall."
