A NEW chapter has begun for a phone box library.
The facility, at Goose Eye, has been restored.
Volunteers from Keighley Lions Club cleaned the box, rebuilt shelves and gave it a fresh coat of paint.
Lion Luke Maunsell, as a town councillor, had asked if the club could help.
"The facility is now looking amazing and we couldn't be prouder," he says.
Keighley's deputy mayor, Councillor Chris Herd, unveiled the new-look box.
Cllr Maunsell thanked everyone involved in the project, including the Lions Shed which provided wood for the shelving and the Turkey Inn for supplying refreshments during the work.
A spokesperson for Keighley Town Council says: "We're grateful for Keighley Lions Club’s unwavering support and dedication.
"Its restoration of our Goose Eye phone box library is just one example of how it consistently steps up to enhance our community spaces. We appreciate members' hard work and community spirit."
