KEIGHLEY MP Robbie Moore has launched a competition to find the constituency's top small businesses.

People are being urged to nominate and vote for their favourites.

Best Small Business accolades will be awarded to winners in each of four areas – Keighley, Ilkley, Craven and Worth Valley – before an overall victor is announced.

The contest is being staged following the success of a similar initiative last year, which saw more than 4,500 votes cast.

Overall winner, and best small business in the Worth Valley, last year was Industry Barbers at Haworth.

Other individual area winners were Boutique Olé in Silsden; Bingley View Dog Park, East Morton, and New Brook Street Deli, in Ilkley.

Mr Moore says: "Now more than ever our small business community needs to be celebrated and supported.

"I am delighted to be launching the 2024 awards after the huge success of last year's, when the support shown for small businesses across our area was absolutely incredible.

"If you have a favourite local small business that you believe deserves recognition, I encourage you to participate in the competition and nominate them.

"I wish all the businesses good luck."

People should submit their nominations at robbiemoore.org.uk/nominate

The deadline for making a nomination is Sunday, December 15.

Mr Moore will visit each winner with their award and a prize.
