ROTARY is staging its popular annual Young Musician Competition.
The event takes place at St Andrew's Church, Keighley, on Saturday, January 11.
Organised jointly by Rotary's Keighley and Skipton clubs, the contest gives young people the chance play a musical instrument or sing in front of a live audience.
"It is a great opportunity for young people to improve their performance skills and enhance their confidence," says a Rotary spokesperson.
"Our experienced adjudicators provide detailed feedback in a positive manner."
The competition is open to anyone who was 17 or under on August 31. There is no lower age limit.
For an application form, email liz.joyce@keighleyrotary.org or message 07947 139225.
The closing date for entries is December 19.
Judges at this year's event – held at St Andrew's Church, Church Green, in January – paid glowing tribute to the standard of performances.
The contest featured participants as young as eight.
