A VILLAGE'S cricket and junior football teams have joined forces for activities.
The Oxenhope outfits combined for a juniors presentation day, and a fundraising event.
And more joint ventures are planned.
The fundraising day coined-in cash for the teams and £400 for Sue Ryder hospice Manorlands.
Andrew Wood, community fundraising manager at Manorlands, says: "We are delighted that these two sports clubs on the doorstep of the hospice have come together to support us.
"It is only through community support such as this that Sue Ryder can continue providing vital care."
A spokesperson for the clubs said: "Both organisations working together has had a hugely positive impact for them and the wider community.
"It has really brought everyone together.
"We will continue to combine forces, and have big plans for 2025.
"Any children or young adults looking to join the cricket or junior football teams can find us on Facebook."
