KEIGHLEY Girlguiding is celebrating its centenary.
An event is being held at Victoria Hall in the town on Saturday, January 11, 2025.
Leaders will be invited to take all girls aged four upwards for an indoor picnic, with games and live music.
Then in the evening, leaders past and present will gather for a buffet supper and to reminisce.
Division commissioner, Janet Armstrong, says: "The Keighley division was registered in 1924, although some units had actually opened before then.
"Units were opening practically every month throughout 1924 and beyond.
"We believe it's important to celebrate this milestone.
"The indoor picnic will give the girls the chance to have enormous fun and meet new friends of all ages.
"In the evening there will be the opportunity for current and former leaders to remember past times, renew friendships with others they might not have seen for some time, chat and relax. It promises to be a really pleasant evening.
"If you are a former adult member of Keighley Girlguiding, you are very welcome to join us on this tremendous occasion. We look forward to seeing you."
Any former members who wish to attend are asked to email keighleydivision100@gmail.com or call 07925 416815.
