FESTIVE celebrations are planned at Keighley's Cliffe Castle Museum.
The Christmas at Cliffe Castle event is returning following its success last year.
A 'quieter' weekend, for children who would benefit from a more relaxed environment, takes place on December 7 and 8.
It includes visits to Santa and a range of seasonal activities.
On the Saturday there are rag wreath making workshops, suitable for people aged 16-plus. Tickets for the workshops are £15, and booking is essential.
Attractions on the Sunday will include a free drop-in workshop where visitors can make Christmas baubles.
A market weekend is being held on December 14 and 15.
That will also feature Santa, plus craft-type stalls, activities and music from Crickmore: Crewe.
The Santa visits are being staged in conjunction with Keighley Lions. Children can write a letter or draw a picture for Santa, before meeting him in his grotto, and receiving a gift and certificate. Tickets to see Santa are £10, and booking is advisable, at keighleylions.org.uk/santas-grotto/p/santas-grotto-ticket-cliffe-castle

Councillor Sarah Ferriby, Bradford Council’s executive member for healthy people and places, says: "We’ve got some lovely events and activities for Christmas at our museums and galleries."
