KING Richard III's nephews were the focus of a talk to Keighley Men's Forum.
Graham Mitchell, Yorkshire branch secretary of the Richard III Society, was guest speaker.
He explained how, in 1483, Edward V and his younger brother Richard disappeared from the Tower of London.
Responsibility for their disappearance, and presumed deaths, was widely attributed to Richard III.
But research carried out by European society members indicates both boys were still alive after the death of their uncle Richard in 1485.
Two pretenders to the throne of England, Perkin Warbeck and Lambert Simnel, later claimed to be the 'princes in the tower' but neither was successful.
"Graham's well-presented talk was appreciated by members," said a forum spokesperson.
Mr Mitchell was thanked by president Derek Jackson.
