A strategic plan for Haworth,Cross Roads and Stanbury will be launched on March 1.
Cllr Huxley informed the parish council that its parish plan was now at the printers.
“This has been a massive effort,” he added.
The document will set out the parish’s priorities in key areas, such as the environment, youth activities, housing, education and employment. Cllr Huxley said 1,500 copies would be printed and would be distributed locally at locations such as post offices, doctors’ surgeries and the Haworth community contact point.
He said the next step would be to appoint a delivery committee, tasked with implementing the parish plan’s objectives. He said the document imposed a substantial responsibility on the council, whose members would soon have to determine precisely how they intended to put those ideas into action.
The launch will take place in the Old School Room, in Church Street, Haworth, from noon to 2pm, on Sunday, March 1.
