Police recovered a haul of stolen chocolate during a raid on a house in Riddlesden.
More than £1,000 worth of goods were seized during yesterday's operation, carried out by Keighley neighbourhood police team (NPT).
The haul – believed to be the result of shoplifting in the town centre – also included children’s toys, sweets, boxes of savoury snacks, multiple packs of men’s razors and toiletries.
Officers are now attempting to trace the owners of the items.
Inspector Wayne Horner, of Keighley NPT, said: “We were expecting to uncover stolen goods at the address but were quite surprised at the scale of the find. It took us a while to pack it all up.”
A woman was arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods and received a police caution.
Inspector Horner added: “I’m particularly pleased with the operation, which sends a message to those handling stolen goods that they will be prosecuted and dealt with.”
