A father-of-two who violently kidnapped a teenager from a Keighley graveyard has been jailed for 18 months.
Faisal Sarwar, 24, was one of a gang of men who marched the 17-year-old from the cemetery at Ingrow.
The teenager had told Bradford Crown Court Sarwar had demanded £100 he said was owed after giving him cannabis to sell. When the victim said he did not have any money, he was attacked, surrounded and marched to a waiting car and made to phone relatives in a bid to obtain money to discharge the debt.
Sarwar, of Albany Court, Keighley, was convicted, by a majority verdict, last month of kidnap.
He was imprisoned on Friday by Judge Roger Scott, who also disqualified him from driving for nine months because a car was used in the offence, which took place last July.
Sarwar had pleaded not guilty to kidnap.
The judge rescinded a community sentence Sarwar had been serving for assaulting his wife.
Nicholas Askins, in mitigation, said Sarwar had missed his children.
