Youngsters in the district are being urged to b-active next week.
Bradford Council is offering cut-price deals at its gyms and swimming pools during the school half-term holidays.
A junior fitness programme and £1 swim will be available from Monday until the following Sunday. A gym promotion will allow youngsters to enjoy a workout for just £2.30, between 11am-5.30pm weekdays and 11am-3pm on the Saturday and Sunday.
And 11 to 15-year-olds are being encouraged to take-up an ongoing gym and swim membership for £15 a month.
The offers form part of the council’s b-active campaign, which has seen over 12 million residents take part in sports and physical activity since 2003.
Councillor Anne Hawkes-worth, the council’s executive member for environment and culture, said: “Every half-term we provide a wide range of events for youngsters to try and enjoy.
“The swimming offer is always very popular and so too are the gym workout sessions and on top of this there is the opportunity to take advantage of the gym and swim membership for just £15 a month.”
The first gym session has to be booked on 01274 307872.
