Raiders have struck at the Halifax bank in Keighley town centre.
It is believed a vehicle was used to smash access into the Low Street premises overnight.
No one from West Yorkshire Police or the bank would confirm if anything was stolen but it is understood a cash machine was taken from inside the building.
A section of Low Street was cordoned off this morning as police officers continued investigations at the scene.
The building’s front door was destroyed and the remains of a large glass panel were lying in the street.
Superdrug premises opposite the bank were also damaged during the incident.
