Tenants at Incommunities blocks of flats are being asked for their views on cleaning and caretaking services.

Letters have been sent to a random sample of 500 residents inviting them to comment.

The housing group’s estate and support services are holding four consultation events to gather feedback on the maintenance of the communal areas and where improvements could be made.

The local event is at Farish House, in South Street, Keighley, on Monday, March 2, from 10am to 12.30pm. Each tenant attending will receive a £10 supermarket voucher as a thank you.

Residents are also being sent questionnaires, with a freepost envelope for replies.

A number of improvements are already being made to the cleaning and caretaking services, including the provision of manuals to workers to improve customer services and increased inspections in low and high-rise blocks.

Harry Whittle, director of Incommunities’ estate and support services, said: “As a caring and customer-focused organisation we are committed to providing the best possible caretaking and cleaning services covering the communal areas of our blocks.

“To help us achieve this we are contacting a random sample of customers to invite them to give us their feedback. They can either do this by taking part in one of our local consultation events or complete and return the customer questionnaire we have sent out.”

Any Incommunities tenant who has not been sent a letter but would like to attend a consultation session or give their views should contact estate and support services on 0845 112 4000.
