schoolchildren from Keighley turned reporters for the day to cover a Bradford conference hosted by TV presenter Johnny Ball to discuss the use of new technology in the classroom.
The event, the bMobLe Next Generation Learning Conference, was held at the Abundant Life Conference Centre, in Bradford. A group of year six pupils from St Anne’s School acted as a media team for the day.
And Wilsden Primary School pupils gave a presentation after they won the Primary Innovation Award at last year’s Handheld Learning event.
The conference was organised by Education Bradford’s curriculum ICT team.
Spokesman Steve Dale said: “Schools have already invested millions of pounds in technology and the innovators have found ways to use that technology to make learning more personalised, exciting, rewarding and enjoyable — and it shows.”
