Keighley has staged its own Oscars-style ceremony.
The glitzy event — at the Albert Hotel – was to reward members of Keighley’s Townwatch radio scheme.
Awards were presented for The Golden Voice, The Golden Go Getter, The Golden Gab, The Golden on the Ball, Meltdown on the Air and The Golden Greatest.
Winners included staff from Adams, Poundland and Claire’s Accessories, with security guards and the police also walking away with prizes.
The awards ceremony was hosted by Keighley Town Centre Association and sponsored by Sitelink Communications.
Compere for the evening was Karen Driver, sales manager at Emirates Securities.
Awards were presented by Keighley town mayor Councillor Amjad Zaman.
He praised the Townwatch scheme, which enables businesses to gather and relay information on crime and anti-social behaviour, medical emergencies and other issues such as lost children. The scheme, launched in November 2006, has more than 70 radios held by businesses across the town.
