Approval has been given for work on the latest sections of the Airedale Greenway cycling and pedestrian route.
Organisers will now seek funding for the measures, which include a pedestrian crossing and pavement changes.
The Greenway is an ambitious cycle and walking route connecting the town centres of Keighley, Bingley and Shipley.
The new sections connect central Keighley and the Leeds Liverpool Canal, at Riddlesden, via Lawkholme, Dalton Lane and Aireworth Road. Keighley Area Committee, part of Bradford Council, recently gave approval in principle to the pavement and crossing work.
When funding is found for each section, the committee will discuss detailed plans if objections are received from the public.
