Police this morning issued a plea for witnesses after a man was attacked outside a Keighley nightclub.
The 49-year-old was assaulted close to Blush, in North Street, between 1-1.15am on Sunday.
He sustained a fractured cheekbone and needed treatment at Airedale Hospital.
The attacker had short brown or black hair and was wearing a bright yellow T-shirt and jeans.
He was accompanied by a woman, described as having shoulder-length blonde hair and wearing a black dress.
Detective Inspector Allan Flynn, of Airedale and North Bradford CID, said: “This was a nasty attack - which has left the victim with a serious head injury - and we are appealing for information.
“Anybody who saw the incident or a man and woman fitting the description leaving the scene in a taxi should contact DC Gareth Hamer at Airedale and North Bradford CID on 0845 60 60 606.”
