Don’t be a dummy! Go along to tonight’s switching on of Keighley’s Christmas lights.
One of the guests is ventriloquist Gareth Oliver, who performed in this year’s Britain’s Got Talent. Gareth will provide entertainment along with radio station the Pulse’s daytime presenter Marc Henry.
There’ll also be the Inspiration Choir, a hundred-strong group of singers, performing music old and new with a Christmas theme. Also appearing will be the Arbeau Dancers, Phil Fluke and Nessfield Primary School singers and there will be competitions and prizes.
The lights are switched on at 6.30pm on Church Green by Santa Claus and his little helpers. From tonight Keighley shops will be open late every Thursday evening until Christmas.
