Pining for a way to help needy people this Christmas?

Then join individuals and businesses in sponsoring a Christmas tree at the Salvation Army.

The Keighley branch of the church last year raised several hundred pounds with its sponsored Christmas tree appeal. Children from Strong Close Nursery went along to the church in High Street to decorate the trees.

Proceeds helped pay for food parcels and essentials like hats and clothes for hard-up local people.

Any individual or business can pay £50 to sponsor a tree, which will then be displayed at the church. Anyone interested should contact Chris Bown on 01535 603494.
