A plan to turn Greenhead High School into an academy will be showcased tomorrow in Keighley town centre.
The plan will be on display in the Airedale Shopping Centre as part of consultation over the academy proposal. The team leading the project will be on hand to answer questions and listen to local people’s views.
Public meetings have already been held across Keighley to outline plans to improve the Keighley secondary school.
Governors want to transform Greenhead into a specialist maths and computing academy.
The new institution — on the same site in Utley — would be sponsored by the University of Bradford and Bradford Council.
The consultation deadline has been extended to next Friday so people have longer to send in the consultation questionnaire.
The questionnaire can be completed online at uakmakeyourmark.com.
