Keighley man Mark Pearson has snapped the Scartop wallaby after encountering it several times.
Mark, a professional photographer, caught the wild marsupial on camera on a frosty night this month. He has seen it regularly while driving home across the moors after running discos in Lancashire.
The wallaby is living wild on the moors between Oakworth and Colne. Several people have seen it while driving across remote roads, usually in the middle of the night.
Mr Pearson, who runs Real Image Photography, in the Royal Arcade, Keighley, wanted to capture a good image of the wallaby so that his friends would believe his claims.
The wallaby was first spotted in August by Keighley family Mark and Vicki Hiscock and their children, Hannah and Charlie, while they were returning from holiday.
Keighley News investigations revealed it is probably Wally, a male who escaped from Far Hey Farm, in Barnoldswick, last year.
