South Craven residents shouldn’t waste their chance to find out about refuse and recycling.
They can read a newsletter detailing changes to waste collection due to come into force next year. The special edition of Your Craven magazine has been distributed to every household in the district.
It explains the expansion of kerbside recycling and a move to alternate weekly collections.
The newsletter can also be viewed on the Craven Council website at cravendc.gov.uk, or by phoning customer services on 01756 706203.
Information packs and a collection calendar will be issued to every household from the second week of January.
This will tell householders how to start sorting their waste differently. A blue bin will be used for recycling glass, cans and plastic. People who do not have a blue bin should contact the council so they can receive one.
Waste roadshows will be held at Craven Pool and Fitness Centre, Skipton, next Thursday, 4-6pm, and on December 5 (10am-1pm) and at Skipton Town Hall (December 8, 9.30am-5.30pm).
