The Bradford Marching Pipe Band will be the highlight of two days of entertainment in Haworth this weekend.
The annual Pipes, Bows and Bells festivities kick off in Main Street late Saturday morning.
There will be children’s rides and a fairground organ, along with performances by the Abe Hill Bell Ringers and the Rainbow Ladies Morris dancers.
The pipe band will be marching and playing down Main Street from 1.30pm and will stage further rousing performances later in the afternoon.
Its members will also be parading on Sunday, when they will be joined by Huddersfield and Ripponden Brass Band.
The weekend is part of a festive season series organised by the Haworth Village Association.
Organiser and spokesman Mike Hutchinson said last weekend’s Christmas market had been “absolutely brilliant. Considering the bad weather it went really well and people enjoyed themselves,” he said.
