Pupils at St Andrew’s CE Primary School, in Keighley, are hooked on learning thanks to the X Factor.
Teachers used the TV talent show to inspire year five students to study right up to Christmas.
Classes adopt a themed topic for each half term bringing together curriculum subjects like literacy, numeracy, art and history. They began with a “Hook Day” planned to inspire the children and motivate them for the rest of the term.
Year five adopted the theme of the X Factor, looking at what happens on the popular TV show.
School spokesman Elaine Ellis said: “They took on the roles of musicians, singers, dancers, comedians, poets and judges.”
