A Keighley charity has received a helping hand to enable it to develop its first website.
The JOIN Project runs recreational and educational activities for adults with learning disabilities and is based in Springfield Mill, Oakworth Road.
It had no budget for a website but a Bradford web design agency agreed to donate its expertise.
Inphi.net was originally approached by George Nash, a business advisor with Manningham-based ATL Enterprise, who asked if it would be willing to assist the charity.
Inphi.net staff responded to the appeal and have just completed work on the new website. This will offer the JOIN Project a chance to promote its work by generating donations, new members and volunteers.
Inphi.net sales director Jon Davis said: “It’s been a real pleasure to be able to assist a charity which puts so much back into the community.
“It’s often too easy to assume that some charities have large fundraising pots to be able to help them self-promote but, on this occasion, it’s simply something they couldn’t self-fund so we stepped in.
“We’re delighted to have been able to help them get online and showcase the great work that they do for people less privileged and with learning disabilities.”
Sarah Parkes of JOIN, said: “We’re absolutely thrilled that Inphi.net stepped in to help us.
“It’s been a great experience for the project and now we have the tools to be able to help ourselves grow, improve donations and showcase the work that we do here.
“Jon and the team have really come up with the goods.”
The new website is accessible at joinproject.org.uk.
