Children and teachers from across Keighley have been climbing aboard a mobile kitchen this week for some hands-on cookery lessons.
The Food For Life Partnership-supported “Cooking Bus” rolled into the car park of Keighley Leisure Centre on Tuesday, with expert food teachers on hand to instruct and inspire pupils.
Children from Braithwaite School learned how to make fresh, healthy food, including vegetable samosas, chickpea salad, falafel and mint and tomato kachumbar.
Students from other local schools also participated, including pupils from Greenhead High and Laycock Primary.
The vehicle’s three-day visit to Keighley forms part of a national campaign called Focus on Food.
