Police are appealing for witnesses to an attack on a 48-year-old man which took place in broad daylight on a busy Keighley road.
Three men with a baseball bat attacked the victim as he left a property in Skipton Road, at 2pm, on Tuesday of last week.
The man was treated in Airedale Hospital for broken fingers and superficial facial injuries.
It is believed the group also attacked the victim’s car, a black Peugeot 607, before fleeing the scene in a black saloon.
Det Insp John Priestley, of Airedale and North Bradford CID, said: “This was a nasty and brazen attack carried out in broad daylight and it is fortunate the victim did not suffer more serious injuries as a result of the incident.
“We know there was a fair amount of traffic in the area at the time and several drivers will have seen what happened.”
The assailants are described as Asian men, aged 30-35, of average height and medium build. One had short black hair and another was taller than the other two.
Det Insp Priestley added: “I would appeal to anyone who witnessed this incident to contact Det Con Debbie Gargon on 0845 60 60 606 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
