A 93-year-old woman was taken to hospital suffering from the effects of smoke inhalation following a blaze at her home late last night.
A faulty vacuum cleaner is believed to have sparked the fire at the terrace property in Victoria Road, Keighley, shortly before midnight.
Two crews from Keighley Fire Station were called out to tackle the blaze, which was restricted to the kitchen area but there was smoke damage to the front room of the house.
The woman, who went to Airedale Hospital, was not seriously hurt.
