A man had to be pulled out of a house in Guardhouse Drive, Keighley, after the kitchen caught fire.
The man was taken to hospital following the blaze just before midnight last night.
Keighley firefighters gave the man and another occupant oxygen to treat smoke inhalation.
Firefighters said the blaze was the result of an unattended chip pan.
