Youngsters from Keighley are to sing for the Pope when he visits the UK in September.
The Holy Family School students are among members of Bradford Youth Choir which was chosen for the honour.
They will also be singing in Keighley next Thursday, at a concert featuring Roman Catholic schools. The youth choir draws members from across the Leeds diocese and about a quarter of its members attend Holy Family.
The choir’s performance on a Radio 4 programme earlier this year was heard by organisers of the Pope’s UK visit.
They subsequently asked the Leeds diocese to provide singers for a mass due to be led by the Pope, in Coventry, on September 19.
The choir’s Keighley concert next Thursday will be at Holy Family School, on Spring Gardens Lane, at 7pm.
It will feature performances from Catholic primary schools, including Keighley’s St Anne’s, St Joseph’s and Our Lady of Victories.
