Organisers of the Haworth 1960s Weekend said they were delighted with the success of the event.
Mods, rockers and hippies descended on the village for two swinging days of fun.
They enjoyed music, dance and street performances – all resembling the styles of one of Britain’s most evocative and talked-about decades.
Most of the daytime entertainment took place in Haworth Park.
Visitors and locals had their photographs taken next to the Tardis and a Dalek.
There were also classic Sixties vehicles, a ‘pirate radio station’, tribute bands and children’s rides.
Many people made the effort to attend wearing 1960s costumes.
Mike Hutchinson, one of the organisers, said: “It was just brilliant. “It was raining on Saturday morning and raining on Sunday morning so we thought: ‘Oh my God, here we go’, but loads of people came long despite that.
“And the number of people who came dressed up in 1960s clothes was excellent. People were taking photos of them.”
He said the late appeal for a small wooden boat for the pirate radio station was successful and he paid special tribute to Bradford singer Natasha Harper and the Small Fakers tribute band, who came all the way from Portsmouth.
Last weekend’s event also included performances in the Black Bull pub, in Main Street.
