TWO WOMEN are putting their best feet forward by basing their separate healthcare businesses in the same Haworth premises.
Foot specialist Christine Harker has moved into Ruth Moore’s already-established Worth Ability Shop in Sun Street.
The women believe the businesses are a perfect fit because they both help people maintain their mobility and retain their independence.
The “one-stop shop” features Worth Ability, which offers products like walking aids, bath lifts, stairlifts and wheelchairs, and Christine’s Heel2Toe Foot Health Care clinic.
Christine, a retired district nurse, retrained as a foot health practitioner in 2010, and now offers assessment, treatment and advice on a range of common foot health care problems.
She said: “My business has gone from strength to strength over the last four years, and as a result of this I have been exploring ways to expand the services I can offer my customers.
“Opening a Foot Health Care Clinic in Worth Ability is an excellent way forward to do this. I feel our two businesses will complement each other.
“We will be able to offer a wide range of high quality professional services under one roof, with the emphasis on the maintenance of peoples health and wellbeing.”
