Keighley under-25s won the Keighley Cup T20 competition at Lawkholme Lane last Sunday, beating Harden in an exciting final by seven wickets.
They needed ten to win off the last over and triumphed with one ball to spare.
George Gill (50) and Richard Wear (40) gave Harden a great start with a first-wicket stand of 89.
At the halfway stage, they were on course for a total not far short of 200 but the Keighley bowlers pegged them back in the second half of their innings.
Tom Stead (67) and Freddie Pearson (45) laid the foundations for Keighley’s victory before Jack Beetham and Jason Roberts guided them over the winning line with an unbroken fourth-wicket stand of 28.
Earlier, Keighley and Harden had gained comfortable wins in the semi-finals.
The hosts beat Craven League side Denholme by eight wickets while Harden beat another Craven League team, Ingrow St John’s, by 68 runs.
Victory came thanks to a big innings from overseas player Roshan Livera, with 70 not out, and Andy Wear, who made 51.
Semi-finals: Denholme 78, Keighley 79-2; Harden 176-3 (R Livera 70no, A Wear 51), Ingrow St John’s 108 (N Safdar 34, R Wear 3-19, B Birkill 3-16).
Final: Harden 160-9 (G Gill 50, R Wear 40), Keighley 161-3 (T Stead 67, F Pearson 45).
