Keighley under-15s added the Bradford League cup to their trophy cabinet, having already won their league.
Skipper Dan Scott decided to bat first in the final against Pudsey Congs but his side didn’t have things all their own way.
A brilliant burst from Pudsey’s Mustafa Rafique left Keighley struggling at 30-4 but a partnership between Sam Murphy (30) and G Heartfield took the score to 55 before Murphy fell.
Lewis Hopkinson and Heartfield moved the total up to 140 until the latter was dismissed for 59. Hopkinson took on the roll of aggressor and finished on a brilliant 75, the innings closing on 198.
It was a superb effort from Keighley, with credit going to Rafique for his 5-19.
The Pudsey innings started well with a 50 opening salvo from Hussain and Rafique but superb bowling and ground fielding from the Keighley, especially Murphy (5-26) and Charlie Hall (3-17) saw Pudsey close on 135.
The double-winning side really are a credit to the town and the club.
