Ingrow & Worth Valley ran away with it in the second half to win 4-1 at lowly Cross Hills Reserves and climb to fourth in the only Mastab's Craven League Division Two match played.

Joe Barker was the only player on target for the hosts.

Settle United’s 100 per cent record was in peril when they trailed 3-0 at home to Gargrave in Division One.

However, aided by player-manager Shaun Airey coming off the bench to score twice, United won 4-3 to stay top of the table.

John Beckwith and Oliver Jones also scored for the winners, whose Matthew Cardus was man of the match.

Settle United have won four out of four and Grassington United, who had no league match, three out of three, but Chatburn have drawn level with the latter on nine points after a 4-3 home victory over Pendle Renegades.

Sutton brought their record to two wins and two defeats in Division Three with a 3-0 home victory over Cowling Reserves.

Joe Crummack, Michael Ruddock and Lukasz Sarosinski were on target for Sutton, whose man of the match was Joshua Smith. Zak Loker was Cowling’s gong winner.

Sutton are now fourth, a place behind Sporting Keighley, who defeated visitors Oxenhope thirds 2-1.

The home side had the better of the first half, scoring direct from a corner. Oxenhope’s young team came more into the game in the second period and deservedly equalised through Connor Madden, but Sporting took the points late on when Oxenhope’s stand-in keeper was wrong-footed by a shot from distance.

Aaran Khan and substitute Farhan Khan were the marksmen for Sporting, Faruk Ali being their best player. Anthony Cooper won the award for Oxenhope.

Broomhill made hard work of their first away game of the campaign with a less than convincing 3-1 win over bottom of the league Ilkley.

A brace from the league’s top scorer and man of the match Andrew Tanner, plus yet another precision header from Joe Slater, kept the Badgers top of the table.

Goalkeeper Jake Yaxley was excellent throughout to ensure Broomhill kept their 100 per-cent start intact but improvements will be needed to be keep it going.

Addingham and Ingrow & Worth Valley Reserves both notched their first wins in Division Four – but both were tight affairs.

Barnoldswick Barons only went down 3-2 at Addingham, while Ingrow & Worth Valley squeezed past visitors Skipton Town Reserves 5-4, whose goals came from Liam Coates (2), Riley Handforth and Josh Newton.

Skipton received five yellow cards, Thomas Mountain being dismissed for a second bookable offence.

Polonia Patson climbed to second on the back of a 7-1 home win against Sutton Reserves.
