Keighley & District Referees’ Association welcome FA Premier League referee Bobby Madley as their guest speaker next Thursday at Silsden AFC.
Madley (pictured) started his refereeing career in the Wakefield District leagues in 2002 and was rapidly promoted to the national list of referees in 2010.
In 2012 he was appointed to the UEFA list of fourth officials for Cham-pions League and Europa League fixtures.
And Madley, who is a referee development officer for the West Riding County FA, was promoted to the Select Group Referees panel, who officiate in the Premier League this season.
He was in charge of the recent game between Hull City and Cardiff City.
The event is open to anyone and there is no admission fee but those attending will be asked to support a raffle, with the proceeds going to Manorlands.
