Wilsden Athletic bounced back brilliantly to record a thumping 6-1 win at Carleton in the Mastab's Craven League Premier Division.

Athletic lost 3-0 at home to Trawden in their previous league game but the win sees them enter the top half of the table.

Cowling also had a big win away from home, beating Cross Hills 4-1.

In Division One, Silsden Whitestar recovered from a 1-0 deficit at half-time to draw 2-2 at Embsay Reserves, with Gavin Shearer and James Whitehead scoring the second-half goals.

Bradley and Cross Hills Reserves both went down 6-0 to Skipton and Colne respectively, which sees them both in the bottom three in Division Two.

Michael Judson and Kyle Richmond scored to make sure Bingley Town stayed in third as they beat Cononley Sports Reserves 2-1.

Tom Yeadon bagged a brace to help Ingrow Worth Valley thrash Rolls 4-0.

Another brace from striker Andrew Tanner secured all three points as Broomhill beat Cowling Reserves 5-0 to stay top of Division Three.

Joe Slater, Simon Harris and an own goal also contributed to a much-improved Badgers display, with the win putting the visitors three points clear of Grassington and FC Sporting Keighley.

Despite the scoreline, Cowling had a much better second half and battled to the final whistle, testing goalkeeper Jake Yaxley on numerous occasions.

Yaxley had to parry a well-struck free-kick from 25 yards and also tipped one round the post to give his side their first clean sheet in three games.

FC Sporting Keighley battered Grindleton Reserves 6-0, with Safeer Ahmed having a particularly eventful game, coming off the bench to score and then receiving a red card.

Lukasz Sarosinski bagged two goals but Sutton failed to beat bottom side Ilkley, who secured their first point of the season in a 2-2 draw.

Palonia Patson moved to the top of Division Four after their 4-1 win over Bradley Reserves. In contrast, Sutton Reserves’ 4-2 defeat to Skipton Reserves mean they now sit at the bottom of the table.
