Two sides who have hit the ground running clash on Saturday when Otley entertain Guiseley.
Otley have been in the top half of Division One for the last six years and last season moved up to third. New captain James Davies top scored with 47 as his side had good contributions from a number of players in overcoming newly promoted Rawdon last week, clinching victory with just three balls to go.
There have been a number of changes at Guiseley with players leaving the area, Dave Pennett taking up a new challenge at Ilkey and overseas star Tallan Wright unable to return. But his replacement, South African Brian Jackson, made an immediate impact with a fine 84 in the win over Collingham.
He was well supported by Harrison Durkin (76) and new captain Peter Towner (54), and Nasir Jamal's four-wicket haul showed his signing from Thackley could have a huge impact.
Guiseley haven't threatened for the title since they were runners-up in 2008 and Saturday's match may indicate if that could change this year.
There's another intriguing game in prospect as Steeton, one of only two clubs to pick up full bonus points last week, travel to Burley who had a comfortable win over Pool.
Rawdon put up an encouraging display against Otley on their return to the top flight but face a difficult game against Kirkstall who pulled off the shock of the opening round by roundly beating defending champions Beckwithshaw.
Having opened with an encouraging win, Ilkley will be confident as they take on Beckwithshaw while Ben Rhydding entertain Pool, both sides looking to break their duck.
Few clubs have had as many changes in the winter as Thackley who just missed out on promotion from Division Two last season and suffered a disappointing defeat to Follifoot last week.
They will be hoping for better fortune against Adel.
Skipton will be confident facing Green Lane because, despite defeat, there were plenty of encouraging signs against Bolton Villas.
Villas now face North Leeds, who made an impressive start, while Harden entertain Knaresborough and Tong Park Esholt travel to Upper Wharfedale.
Having made outstanding starts to their Division Three campaigns, Horsforth and Hall Park will face with optimism trips to Alwoodley and Calverley respectively.
Silsden were also impressive in beating Olicanian and now face relegated Bardsey while Addingham seek their first win against promotion hopefuls Illingworth.
Skipper Gareth Lee led from the front with an unbeaten 64 in Menston's win over Addingham and they will travel to Olicanian looking to maintain the momentum.
Sunday sees the Preliminary Round of the Waddilove Cup with Tong Park Esholt entertaining last season's beaten finalists Beckwithshaw, Skipton travelling to Bolton Villas, Steeton with a tricky tie at Follifoot and Adel facing Alwoodley.
